摘要
在阐明信息的社会功能和信息资源论的基础上，从８个方面系统地论述了信息资源对社会发展的重要影响和巨大作用，以及信息技术对社会发展的综合影响；最后，总结和归纳了信息资源与社会发展的关系的基本观点。
Abstract After explaining the social functions of information and the theory of information resources, this paper systematically describes IR’s great roles and influences on social development from eight aspects,such as the great roles in social changes,social economic development,the strategies promoting the country by science and education,the social progress of science and technology,the construction of spiritual civilization,social cultural construction,citizens, qualities in a society and the comprehensive influences of information technology on social development.In conclusion,the main points of view on the relationship between IR and social development are summarized,and the developing trends including the socialization of information and the informationization of society are pointed out.
