摘要
本科生导师制对提高高等教育质量具有重要作用。本科生导师制弥补了思想教育工作中的不足,完善了学生管理体制,有利于培养学生的综合素质,有力地促进了教学相长。本科生导师制在实施过程中存在一些问题,需要进一步完善。
Tutorial system for undergraduates has been implemented in School of English for International Business in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies since 2002. Taking it as a case, this essay illustrates the effects of the tutorial system in the improvement of teaching in higher education in China, i.e. it supplements the ideological and political work, perfects students management system, develops students' comprehensive qualities and boosts the reciprocity of teaching and learning. The writer also identifies the main problems on tutor's performance.
