摘要
我们研究了4.2K温度下氟化镱(YbF_3)晶体的吸收光谱与荧光光谱。由吸收光谱及荧光光谱定出了YbF_3晶体中Yb^(3+)离子的斯塔克子能阶。利用红外可调谐激光器共振激发Yb^(3+)离子时观察到可见荧光。这种可见荧光是激发态的yb^(3+)离子通过能量转移过程激发的微量含量汉0.2ppm的Tm^(3+)与Er^(3+)上转换荧光。这是首次报导的灵敏度这样高的上转换荧光。经速率方程的分析与实验结果符合得较好。
The absorption spectra and fluorescence spectra of YbF_3 are investigated at temperature 4.2K. The Stark levels of Yb^(3+) in YbF_3 are designed by absorption and fluorescence spectra. When the ion Yb^(3+) is resonantly excited by infrared dye laser, the fluorescence spectra in visible region is observed. This fluorescence spectra in visible region is the Up-Conversion fluorescence of Tm^(3+) and Er^(3+) (Tm^(3+) and Er^(3+) content are 0.2ppm), the Up-Conversion fluorescence was excited by the energy transformation of Yb^(3+) in excited state. This is such high sensitivite Up-Conversion fluorescence that is first reported. From the theory analysis of rate equation, the theory was good agree with experiment.
