社会主义市场经济条件下,如何发展图书馆事业,是新时期图书馆工作所面临的严峻挑战和重要课题。特色图书馆是如何产生的?什么是特色图书馆?图书馆建设有哪些要求?探讨这一系列问题,对于我国特色图书馆建设有着十分重要的意义。
How to develop the enterprise of library in the condition of market economic of socialism？ It is a grim challenge and an important subject which the libraries are facing in the new times. This article first talks about the social background of bringing about the characteristic libraries, explaining what characteristic library is, and then narrates some basic peculiarities of characteristic libraries and some basic requirements of constructing characteristic libraries. At last it analyzes the tendency of future development of Chinese characteristic libraries.
