摘要
论文对后期维特根斯坦的语言哲学观点主要从以下三个方面进行了综合概述:词语、语句的意义就是它们在具体言语活动中的用法;私人语言不具有社会功能;语言游戏是维特根斯坦用来分析和论证日常语言意义的方法,游戏规则只能在游戏过程中掌握。维特根斯坦“意义即用法”的观点可以说是当代方兴未艾的社会语言学、语用学、功能语言学的哲学渊源,对我们的外语教学活动也有很大的启发指导作用,例如情景教学、交际教学、文化教学、语境与篇章分析教学、语境与翻译教学等教学方法就是这一哲学理论的实际运用。
In this article we summarize the linguistic-philosophical viewpoints of Wittgenstein in his later period of life: Meaning is the practical usage of a language. Individual language does not play a social function, so it is meaningless. By means of language games Wittgenstein analysed the meaning of everyday language. The rules of games can be learned only during the process of games. So as the rules of a language. The philosophical sources of many linguistic studies, for example, sociolinguistics, functional linguistics and pragmatics, are derived from this theory: Meaning is usage. The linguistic-philosophical viewpoints of Wittgenstein are enlightening for our foreign language learning and teaching.
