摘要
利用直方图统计信息对图像的对比度进行增强,运算量大,资源消耗多,不利于硬件实现。红外图像线性增强效果关键在于灰度增强范围的选择,目前的方法要么计算复杂,要么硬件实现困难。本文提出的多级均值算法省去了繁琐而耗费资源的直方图统计计算,能够根据需要直接得到直方图中某一概率区间两端灰度值。实验表明该方法易于硬件实现,自适应能力强,增强效果好。
Image enhancement based on histogram statistics is a popular and effective method, bu the method is difficult for hardware real- ization. In this paper, a multi- level mean method is presented, it can obtain 1/2nand 1- 1/2n (n=0,1,2,3,4…)mean value of the histogram. They are used for the linear transform of histogram. The experiments show that the system is effective, adaptive. The implementation of the algorithm using FPGA is simple and fast. The algorithm presented in this paper can be applied to real- time application.
