摘要
从丑得以存在的背景、美丑的关系及其形而上的依据等方面比较庄子与雨果的审丑。庄子的审丑成就了中国艺术朴素自然之美,雨果的审丑指出了描绘丑怪事物的美学价值,对后世均有深远影响。
This paper makes a comparison of appreciating the ugliness between Zhuangzi and Victor-Marie Hugo from the background of the possible existence of ugliness, the relationship between beauty and ugliness, and its metaphysical basis. Zhuangzi's appreciation of ugliness accomplished the naive and natural beauty of Chinese art, and Hugo's appreciation of ugliness pointed out the aesthetic value to depict the ugly things. They both have a far-reaching influence upon later generations.
