摘要
本文分别利用国内及国外量子阱半导体激光二极管芯片,采用增益开关技术,成功地产生了5GHz超短光脉冲,并利用滤波器及正常色微光纤补偿技术,得到了近变换极限的超短光脉冲,脉冲宽度分别达到9ps及14.76ps,并以此半导体超短脉冲光源为光孤子源,分别实现了56.3km、31km光孤子传输.
Two kinds of Gain-Switched DFB ultra-short pulse source working at 5GHz repetition rate are introduced, where the DFB laser diode chips are internal and external products. Transform limited pulses with duration about 9ps and 14.76ps were got after dechirp processing by using F-P filter and normal dispersion compensation technology. Successful soliton transmission over 56.3km and 31km are achieved respectively with these ultra-short pulse sources as soliton source.
