玉米幼芽提取物对小鼠脑组织氧化损伤的保护作用

摘要 目的:探讨玉米幼芽提取物(extracts of maize plumule,EMP)对小鼠脑组织氧化损伤的保护作用。方法:采用D-半乳糖(D-galactose,D-gal)复制小鼠脑组织氧化损伤模型。EMP组在造模同时分别灌胃给予10、20、40mg/(kgbw·d)EMP,连续6w,观察其对氧化损伤小鼠脑组织超氧化物歧化酶(T-SOD)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-PX)活性及丙二醛(MDA)含量的影响;同步观察普通光学显微镜下小鼠海马CA1区组织形态变化和透射电子显微镜下小鼠大脑皮质超微结构变化。结果:EMP对D-gal致小鼠脑组织T-SOD、GSH-Px活性降低和MDA含量升高有抑制作用,并改善了D-gal导致的海马CA1区组织形态变化和大脑皮质的超微结构变化。结论:EMP对D-gal致小鼠脑组织氧化损伤具有保护作用。 Objective: To study the protective effects of extracts of maize plumule (EMP) against oxidative damage in brain tissue of mice. Method: D-galactose (D-gal) induced oxidative damage models were used, and EMP groups were confered 10, 20, 40 mg/(kg bw·d) EMP. After 6 w, the activity of total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) were determined in brain tissue of damaged mice. Simultaneously,the histological features of hippocampal CA1 region under light microscopy and the ultrastructural change in cerebral cortex were observed by transmission electron microscope . Results: EMP can inhibit the decrease of T-SOD ,GSH-PX activity,and the increase of MDA content in brain tissue of oxidative damage mice induced by D-gal. Meanwhile, EMP can improve the histological change of hippocampal CA1 region and the ultrastructural change in cerebral cortex induced by D-gal. Conclusion: EMP have protective effects against oxidative damage in brain tissue of mice induced by D-gal.
