摘要
艾米莉.勃朗特的小说《呼啸山庄》是英国文学作品中最具艺术魅力的小说之一。但最能体现艾米莉的与众不同和作为小说家深厚功底的是那复杂,却构思巧妙、多视角独特设计的叙事结构。艾米莉的内向性格决定了小说的内向性,她不会使读者轻而易举地到达小说的中心,抓住小说的主题,而是在读者通往小说中心的道路上设置了重重障碍,迫使读者沿着螺旋形的弯道一路蹒跚而行,于是形成了独特的螺旋形叙事结构。
Among the English novels, the solitary novel of Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights, has been one of those having the most profound artistic charms, Nevertheless, onlay the complicated, ingeniously conceived narrative structure designed from various angles really incarnates Emily＇s originality and her solid foundation as a novelist. Emily＇s inwardness in personality prompts her to place on the way to the center of the novel many obstacles that causes the reader to move forward slowly along a circuitous spiral way arresting the themes being quickly laid bare. Therefore, the spiral-like narrative structure naturally comes into being.
