＂Based on the principle of compensating cost for discharge control, the SO2 pollutant emission fee will be increased from current 0.63 Yuan/kg to 1.26 Yuan/kg by stages within three successive years.＂ This is a new rule stipulated in the Comprehensive Scheme for Energy Saving and Discharge Reduction issued by NDRC recentlv.
