摘要
精读课是英语专业的核心课程,近几年来的改革让教师意识到:虽然教学方法、教学手段有所更新,但改革没有取得突破性的进展,学生的外语整体水平提高得比较缓慢。关键问题是学生的学习意识、学习动力没有得到有效的激发,常常被动地蜻蜓点水式地应付学习,也就是说学生没有树立修辞主体意识。
English intensive reading is a major course in English speciality, but the reforms in recent years haven＇t resulted in prominent development. Though teachers have used some new methods and new means in teaching, the whole English level of students hasn＇t improved greatly. The main problem is that students＇ study consciousness and study motive haven＇t been stimulated effectively. They just play at teachers＇ questions superficially ＆ passively. That is to say they haven＇t consciousness of principal part in rhetoric activity.
