摘要
针对视频在网络中传输提出了两种改进方法:第一种采用卷积和包交织编码,将网络中产生的突发差错转变为统计独立的差错;第二种针对无线传输系统,将数据分类为重要数据与非重要数据,在接收端检测重要数据信息的差错,并据此来控制发送端的重发机制,仅当重要数据的丢包数超过一定阈值才要求发送端重发.在保证了传输图像的差错小于一个预定值情况下,使图像传输的重传数据较少,同时也减小了由于数据重传引起的网络时延.利用VCEG提供的3GPP2网络仿真平台建立了H.264视频传输系统,并在该仿真平台上进行了实验,取得了满意的结果.
Two improved methods for the video transmission through network are presented: the first method changes the burst error in the network into statistically independent error, using convolution and interlaced technique on the packet encode; the seeond method divides video data into important data and unimportant data and ehecks the error in important data at receiving terminal, to control aceordingly the re-transmission mechanism at transmit side in the wireless transmission system. Transmit terminal will be asked to re-transmit only when the number of lost packets is larger than a threshold. It can reduce the re-transmission frequency in the ease that the error of transmitted image is less than a pre-selected threshold, the network delay caused by selected re-transmission of the data is reduced as well. The H. 264 video transmission system is built by using 3GPP2 network emulation platform offered by VCEG, on whieh the experiment is carried on it and a satisfactory result is obtained.
