摘要
桃在民俗中具有十分丰富的表现形式,起到祈福娱神的吉祥功能与祛凶禳鬼的辟邪功能。这种自然界中的常见之物被赋予了特殊意义与神秘色彩,明显地具有“灵物”特征。桃的灵物崇拜与原始自然条件及传统文化关系密切,并在流传的过程中融合了儒释道多元思想。
The peaches are found to be very popular in folk customs. Sometimes, the masses took peaches as the medium of praying for happiness and giving pleasure to Gods, and sometimes they used peaches to symbolize the ability of exorcising evil spirits, endowing the common things in nature with the special meanings and making them more valuable and more mysterious. Obviously, the peaches possess the featuers of spirits. The folk customs of peach worship are closely related to primitive natural environments and traditional culture, and are in perfect harmony with Confucianism and Buddhism and Daoism during the course of handing down.
