摘要
我国正在建设三个国家级的中子散射大型科学装置,蒙特卡罗模拟技术在中子散射谱仪的优化设计方面发挥着关键作用。本文介绍了国际上中子散射谱仪模拟技术的发展和应用现状,详细论述了蒙特卡罗方法应用于中子散射谱仪模拟研究的原理,介绍了国际上应用最广泛的中子散射谱仪模拟软件MCSTAS。我们已将模拟技术应用于中国先进研究堆上新建中子散射谱仪的设计工作中,完成了多台谱仪和中子导管的优化设计。本文报道了应力测量专用中子衍射谱仪的部分模拟和优化工作。
Three national neutron scattering facilities are under construction in China. Monte Carlo simulation technique plays a key role in optimizing the designs of neutron scattering instruments. In this paper, the worldwide development of the simulation technique for neutron scattering instruments and its application is reviewed. The application of the Monte Carlo method in the simulation of neutron scattering instruments is discussed theoretically in details. The most widely used simulation software package, MCSTAS, is introduced. The simulation technique was applied in the design of neutron scattering instruments being built at China Advanced Research Reactor( CARR), and the design of several instruments and neutron guides was optimized. A part of the simulation and optimization results on the Neutron Diffractometer for Strain Measurements is introduced in this paper.
