明末天启、崇祯年间,钱谦益热衷于藏书,且声名渐高,出现了众多书贾奔赴钱谦益之门的前所未有的盛况。这些书贾带来大量珍本、秘本,为钱谦益成为当时最大的藏书家做出了不容低估的贡献。
