摘要
隐喻研究必须解决的4个问题是:1)为什么说思维是隐喻的;2)语言运用、问题求解、记忆和创造性活动中频繁地使用隐喻,动机何在;3)隐喻产生于何处;4)概念隐喻的使用为什么具有选择性。将不同领域的研究纳入三个不同层次进行讨论可以理清一个基本的轮廓,了解理论之间的内在联系,避免不必要的误解,说明学科的交叉性和研究的途径与方法。未来主要研究领域的成果将为解决这些问题提供直接有力的证据。
In order to solve the four key problems: metaphoricity of thought, motivation for the frequent use of metaphor in language use, problem solving and memory, the origin of metaphor and the selectivity of metaphoric mapping, metaphor studies are carried out interdisciplinarlly on three levels: supraindividual, individual and subindividual. Examing metaphor studies from these three perspectives will offer us a clear overview of all the studies related, help us understand the interconnections among many different domains and avoid misconceptions, show us the different research methodologies. The findings from the main areas for future research will provide decisive evidence and solutions to the above four problems.
