摘要
The research of Chinese modern history of philosophy, as one kind of modern academic forms, has a close relationship with the self-understanding of times. Philosophy and times have both external and internal relations. If we synthesize them dialectically, We’ll realize that it is necessary to capture the connection between history as the guide of the search of Zeitgeist (Time sprite). Then, that philosophy is the expression of Zeitgeist shows much wider methodical meaning. Since modern time, Chinese seek reform ceaselessly and are always confused by how to understand the change of times. The research of three philosophical schools’common intention shows that the modernity, with the request of the power as the center, consists of the common dimension of the turn of Chinese ancient philosophy to modern one. The division of modernity itself shows the opposite between Scientism and Humanism, and the opposite between Positivism and Irrationalism. To reflect such modern phenomena is one of the major issues of Chinese modern philosophy. It registers that we should pay proper attention to the approach of sociology of knowledge, to the function of social existence, and to the connection between philosophy and other contemporary ideology, as well as the whole spiritual phenomena. Then, the area of Chinese modern philosophical research will be expanded greatly. To such wider area, we should be equipped with equal sight and critical mind.
