摘要
中国近代大学校长是特殊时代的一个特殊群体,他们的卓越贡献为中国高等教育的发展奠定了强实的基础,对他们的高等教育思想的研究具有重要的历史意义和现实意义。1979年至2006年5月这一阶段的中国近代大学校长高等教育思想的时代特征是以教育救国为理想目标,以为社会培养合格人才为现实目标,以重视学术和科研为创新的源泉,以民主管理为基本策略。
China＇s present-day university principals are a special group of a special era. Their outstanding contribution laid a sound foundation for the development of China＇s higher education and research on their thinking has important historic and realistic meaning. The epoch feature of higher-education thinking of China ＇s present-day principals from 1979 to May 2006 takes ＂saving the country through education＂ as the ideal target, ＂cultivating qualified talents for the society＂ as the realistic target, ＂emphasizing academy and scientific research＂ as the source of innovation, ＂democratic management＂ as the basic strategy.
