摘要
对我国当代城雕创作中不可讳言的庸愚变形、畸形抽象和美丑移易等现象的国内外背景与成因进行了初探式的揭橥。进而提示作者与受众,当今城雕理念存在着危险的混乱。一些持论者偏激地强调无限度地尊重不同的选择,极力张扬绝对的民主、共存、并列、无主体的开放和取消核心的多元。这实质上是在湮没、取消和抹杀现代城雕的人文精神和教育功能这一主导内涵,从而毁损城市公众的人生环境和根本利益。
The writer observed the background and studied the causes of the stodgy, freakish situation in up-to-date city sculpture creation. The inability and lack of sensitivity to beauty rang a bell to the writer. The general public should pay attention to this phenomenon as well. It is obvious that there is a dangerous confusion in the notion of up-to-date city sculpture creation. Some extreme opinions overwhelmingly emphasize the respect to various options without a limit, absolute democracy, coexistence, juxtaposition, openness without a subject and multi-culture without a core. The leading purpose of up-to-date city sculpture should not only demonstrate the spirit of humanism but also have some educational functions, while the current trend completely annihilates and abolishes this concept of city sculpture. Therefore, it will eventually ruin the cultural environment and cause the loss of public benefit.
