Prometheus, as a god of Man's Protector and Friend, is always the messenger of promise; however, he becomes a liar in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. This paper will reinterpret Frankenstein with the methods both of close reading and macro-structure-analysis so as to explore how Mary presents this unreliable narrator.
