摘要
城市设计是一门年轻的学科，笔者通过对城市设计发展历程的简单，回顾将城市设计的发展总结为三种向度：以数学方式为主导的．以物理方式为主导的和以化学方式为主导的城市设计，依次对应着前工业时代．工业时代和后工业时代的城市发展。在此基础上，笔者认为如今城市设计的发展应该更加注重以化学方式为主导的城市设计。
Urban design is a young knowledge. By a brief review of the development of urban design, I summarize it into three different directions： urban design dominantly in a mathematics-like, physicske and chemistry-like way, who respectively corresponding to the city development of the pre-industrial era, the industrial era and the postndustrial era. On the base of this idea, I regard the urban design in a chemistry-like way as the keystone for current urban design work.
