摘要
从象形、会意、形声上解说“杏”字,均会产生一些不能回答的问题。考察“杏”在甲骨卜辞中的字形和用法发现,作为果名的杏借自作为祭事的杏。“果也”并非“杏”的本义。
To explain ＂Xing＂ from the pictographic, associative compounds and pictophonetic respects some questions which can＇t be answered. We found ＂Xing＂ as be a fruit name borrowed from ＂Xing＂ something about sacrifice by investigating the character pattern and usage of ＂Xing＂ in Oracle Bones. Be name is not the original meaning of＂ Xing＂.
