摘要 自然环境中约99%的微生物不能用传统的分离培养方法获得其纯培养。随着宏基因组技术的出现,人们可以对这一庞大的未知世界进行多方面的研究,包括微生物的生理、生态及其基因功能等。利用这一技术,研究者已经对地球上的许多生境进行了研究,并取得了很多新的成就。简要概述这一技术在研究未培养微生物方面的应用。 About 99% microorganisms in natural environment cannot be obtained their pure culture by traditional isolation and culture methods. With the emergence of metagenomic technology people could investigate the immense and unknown world of microorganisms in many ways, including microbial physiology, ecology, and the functional genes and so on. Investigators have studied many habitats of the earth by this technology and acquired many novel accomplishments. The application of metagenomics for investigation of uncultured microorganisms has been briefly summarized in this paper.
