摘要
文章通过对马尔克斯小说《巨翅老人》的解读,批驳了把“巨翅老人”作为“天使”的传统解读,借助于符号学理论为解析人物形象提供的新视角,为解读魔幻现实主义小说提供了一种阐释方法。马尔克斯以客观冷静的叙述手法批判了20世纪五六十年代拉丁美洲传统变革中的世俗狂欢化倾向,体现出其精英主义的批判立场。
Through the interpretation of Marquez＇s novel The Old Man With Two Big Wings , this essay contrasts the common think- ing which regards the character ＂the old man＂ as ＂the angel＂ , and suggests to analyze the character on semiotics which provides a new way for understanding the magic realism. Marquez criticizes the trend of common customs carnival of Latin America in fifty - sixty of twentieth century by the objective description, which shows the intellectual criticism.
