摘要
在我国文献典籍中,有多处提及“玄鸟生商”的传说,难道“商”真是玄鸟所生的吗?那玄鸟又为何物呢?是不是当今大多数学者所认为的鸟图腾?对此问题,在前人研究成果的基础上,从所掌握的史料入手,本文进行了考证并断言玄鸟并非简单的鸟图腾,而是原始先民所崇拜的男根象征物。
Among the voluminous ancient documents, many mention the legend of ＂The Mysterious Bird Gives Birth to Shang＂. Is Shang really reproduced by the Mysterious Bird？ And which kind of bird is it？ Is it the bird totem that the majorities of current scholars believe？ Based on the researches of predecessors, this essay proceeds with the historical data accessible and comes to the conclusion that the Mysterious Bird is not the simple bird totem, but the symbol of the male genital organ that the primitives worshiped.
