摘要
菌种是主要的生物资源,一个优良的菌种被选育出来以后,必须保持其优良性状不变或尽可能地少变慢变,才不至于降低生产性能,能长期在生产中使用。本文介绍了常用的微生物菌种的保藏方法:斜面低温保藏法、液体石蜡保藏法、沙土管保藏法、冷冻真空干燥保藏法、液氮超低温保藏法和基因工程菌的保藏,并比较了它们的优缺点。
Bacterial strains are major biological resources. Once a good strain is isolated, it is imperative to keep it from mutating or at least keep the mutation to minimum so the strain could be utilized in production for a long time without losing its characteristics. This article gave a summary of commonly used methods of microbiological preservation:periodic transplantation preservation, liquid wax preservation, carrier preservation, freezedrying/vacuum-drying, liquid nitrogen cryopreservation and glycerol cryopreservation, and also compared their pros and cons.
