摘要
湖北经历过几次重要的海陆变迁和造山运动后,到晚第三纪时,逐渐形成了近代地貌的雏形。其后的新构造运动不仅控制着湖北现代地貌的基本格局,而且奠定了湖北河流水系演化的地质地貌基础。长江、汉江、清江三大水系在现代构造运动的影响下,经历了各自的形成变迁,并在更新世时,在江汉盆地实现贯通。
After going through several important sea - land changes and orogenic movements, Hubei has formed the embryo of the modern geomorphology gradually until the late stage of Tertiary Period. The following neotectonic movement not only controls the basic pattern of the modern geomorphology, but also lays the geological - geomorphological foundation of the drainage system evolution in Hubei. Three major river systems, Yangtze River,Han River and Qing River, have gone through their own forming changes under the influence of modern tectonic movement. And during Pleistocene, they linked up each other in Jianghan Basin.
