摘要
在分析主曲线、推广多边形算法和指纹数据的特点后,尝试使用主曲线来描述指纹特征,对原推广多边形算法作了较大改进,使其更适用于指纹骨架的提取,最后实现了基于骨架的指纹特征提取.实验结果表明,改进的推广多边形算法能够在短时间内有效地提取出指纹线的骨架,而在骨架上提取特征点也较其他一些方法有着更高的准确率,具有一定的应用价值.
With the analysis of the principal curves, the extended polygonal line algorithm and the specialties of fingerprint, the original extended polygonal line algorithm is improved a lot, and becomes much more suitable for the extraction of the skeletonization of fingerprint. Then the minutiae extraction based on the skeletonization is achieved. The improved extended polygonal line algorithm proves more effective in skeletonization in a short time and the minutiae extraction based on the skeletonization is accurate compared with some traditional methods, thus it is more practical.
