摘要
负折射率材料的研究已成为近年来科研的热点。电磁波在负材料中的传播特性是研究的首要问题之一。利用一个正常材料包围负折射率材料块的区域模型,根据推广的Snell定理,分析在改变该模型正常材料区域的介电常数对材料交界面相对折射率的影响。通过FDTD法数值模拟了TE模电磁波在该模型区域的场分布。数值比较了改变该模型正常材料的介电常数和磁导率对其相对折射率、成像效果以及成像位置的变化。说明电磁波在不同正常材料包围的负材料块区域中传播,其折射规律仍然符合推广的Snell定理。
In rencent years, the negative refractive index materials are so widely studied in scientific research so that its radiowave propagational characteristics become an important problem. Based on extended Snell theorem, a region model of nomal material around negative refractive index material is constructed and relative refractive index at the interface of two materials is analyzed by emoplying FDTD method. The field distribution in the region is simulated and the effects of different permittivity and permeability of nomal materials on relative refractive index, imaging quality and imaging position are discussed. Numerical results show that the law of radiowave propagation in the region model does still accords with the extended Snell theorem.
