In Jinyong's novels there are massive cave images. To Jin Yong's novels, the caves have a kind of narration meaning at first, which can present specifically through two important respects including life of the chivalrous protagonists of the novels and acrobatic skill of that. The second meaning of the cayes is a kind of amusement meaning to reader, for they are common narrative elements to constitute esthetic pleasant sensation. At profound level, the caves are actually a kind of moral metaphor, expressing the morals that good is rewarded with good through the chivalrous persons as the just incarnation in the novels. When being deeper, the caves,as the typical symbol of Taoist culture, exist widely in the novels in order to treat double injury to body and mind of chivalrous persons from the confucian moral spirits.
