摘要
以中国陶瓷文化为参照,说明中国海洋文化是中华文化的重要组成部分,大陆文化的创造性成果是海洋文化发展的基础,它们两者之间不是对立而是互动的。中国海洋文化的主要特点是强大的创新能力、对异质文化的亲和力及由这两者造成的文化多元性。由这多元性,又使商品的交易都具有传播综合文化的作用。商业性是中国海洋文化发展的根本动力,因此,海洋文化除应研究海洋本身之外,主要的研究对象是以海洋为纽带的商业文化。这种商业文化所体现的以质取胜、诚信为本、取财以“道”、和平竞争的儒商精神,是中国海洋文化的突出个性,与欧洲海洋文化的掠夺性有着根本的区别。
With reference to China's pottery culture, China's marine culture is an essential part of China's national culture. The creative results of the continental culture are based on the development of marine culture. They are not opposite but interactive. China's marine culture is mainly characterized with creativeness, friendliness to the foreign cultures, and consequently, diversity. As a result, the goods trade has served the function of spreading the comprehensive culture. Therefore, in addition to the study of the oceans, the study of marine culture should mainly focus on the commercial culture in which the oceans are the bonds. The commercial culture manifests the spirits of Confucius merchants such as quality priority, honesty, fair trade and peaceful competitiveness, all of which are the distinguishing features from the aggressive European marine culture.
