摘要
作为极具中国特色、富有思辨色彩的一个佛教宗派,天台宗在跨文化交际方面显示出了非凡的潜力。在欧美国家,随着佛法的弘传,不少天台宗僧人、学者以及一些民间居士、出版人、网络建设者,正将天台种子不停地播撒在异域的土地和民众的心田。从天台宗在欧美的传播方式来看,主要有天台宗道场的创设、学者研究与宣讲、网络传播等途径。
As a Buddhism sect with Chinese features and philosophy, Tiantai Sect has manifested great potentialities in intercultural communication. In European and American countries, many Buddhists of Tiantai Sect, scholars, lay Buddhists, publishers and net workers are diffusing Tiantai seed into foreigners＇heart with spreading of Buddhism. Dissemination methods and channels of the Sect mainly include founding rites, researching Buddhism and spreading Tiantai Sect by the Interact, etc.
