摘要
对切变气流中重力内波的稳定性进行了数值计算,结果表明,判别晴空颠簸是否发生的临界Ri数随波长、层结稳定度和基本气流切变强度的不同而有所变化,预报业务中用Ri<0.25作为预报晴空颠簸的指标易出现空报。
In this paper, theoretical calculations of the stability of inner-gravity waves on shearing basic flow are made. The results show that the critical Richardson number,which is a criterion whether the clear air turbulence (CAT) appears, changes with wave length, stratification stability and basic flow shear, it is less than 0. 25 for the wave length less than 100 km. The area of predicted CAT with general index Ri<0. 25 may have no one occurred in operational forecastings.
