摘要
巴基斯坦国立现代语言大学位于首都伊斯兰堡，最初是一所隶属于巴基斯坦陆军总部的语言学院，现已经发展为一所综合性的国立大学。中文系是该校最早建立也是条件最好、教学质量最高的语言系之一。在汉语教学的班级设置和课程体系方面具有自身的特色，汉语师资的培养也卓有成效，但在汉语教材建设、理论研究方面尚待加强。
National University of Modem Languages, Pakistan, located in the capital, Islamabad, initially a language college attached to Pakistan Army Headquarters, has now turned into a comprehensive national university. Chinese Language Department, one of the departments founded earliest, has the best conditions and highest teaching quality. Its class and curriculum arrangements have its own traits and its training of Chinese teachers is efficient. However, the compilation of Chinese teaching materials and its theoretical researches are waiting to be improved.
