This article introduces the project of the 1 550 nm in broadcast and television city areas network and city-county join-network, which includes design idea, the key techniques, the choosing of equipment, and the fixing and debugging of the system. It also gives some concrete cases, the application prospect and development tendency of the 1 550 nm in broadcast and television city area network and city-county join-network.
