文本与潜文本的对话——重读薇拉·凯瑟《我们的一员》 被引量：12

摘要 薇拉·凯瑟的战争小说《我们的一员》出版后虽获普利策小说奖,但却受到海明威等同时代作家的奚落与抨击,也为后代许多评论家所诟病。他们的理由是《我们的一员》颂扬了美国军人在战争中的英勇事迹,美化了这场被普遍认为是非正义的战争。20世纪80年代以来,《我们的一员》开始被重新阅读和重新发现。人们发现,凯瑟在作品中巧妙运用不同声音的对话与冲突,制造出一个与文本表面意义相反的潜文本意义。
