本文首先阐述了城域网的基本特征,然后分析了城域网的主要问题以及对下一代城域网的基本要求。接下来,重点总结了城域电信级以太网的主要特征和几种新型城域电信级以太网的发展。
This article describes the basic characteristics of MAN, then, it analyzes major problems for MAN today and basic requirements for the next generation MAN. After that, it illustrates the major natures of carrier grade Ethernet for MAN application and the latest development for a few of new carrier grade Ethernet technologies.
