摘要
作为晚清新小说创作实绩不可或缺的组成部分,吴趼人的短篇小说无论从取材倾向与主题意蕴等内容方面,还是从叙事情景、叙事结构和叙事时间等形式方面,都与传统短篇小说有着很大的不同,体现出介于传统与现代之间的转型期短篇小说的诸多新质。吴趼人以自己的身体力行带起了清末短篇小说创作的一个小小热潮,为长期停滞的中国短篇小说创作打开了一条生路。
As an essential part of the New Novels in the Late Qing Dynasty, Wu Jianren＇s short stories distinguish themselves from traditional ones in subject matters and thematic implications as well as narrative methods, narrative structure and narrative time. They find themselves between traditional style and modern style at the turn of the century. Wu Jianren blew up a light storm with his own creations in the Late Qing Dynasty and found a way out of the stalemate in the development of Chinese short stories.
