摘要
利用多重分形分析方法,考察了中国大陆和台湾地区以及新西兰的地震活动广义应变释放时间和空间分布的多重分形特征.结果表明,地震活动时空分布的多重分形特征与不同地球动力学环境关系密切.强震活动时间分布在板间地区具有比板内地区更明显的丛集性,对中小地震这种丛集性差异较小;强震活动空间分布在板内地区具有比板间地区更强的丛集性,但对中小地震则相反.
This paper analyze the multifractal characteristics of spatio-temporal distribution of generalized strain release of earthquakes (GSRE) occurred in the eastern and western Chinese mainland (as an instance of intraplate region), Taiwan region and New Zealand (as an instance of intraplate region). The results show that the multifractal characteristics of GSRE are closely related to the geodynamic environment. For the temporal distribution of strong events, the clustering feature is more evident in the interplate region than that in the intraplate region, while for small and moderate events, this difference is ambiguous. For the spatial distribution of strong earthquakes, the clustering feature is usually clearer in the intraplate region than that in the interplate regions, while for small and moderate events, the case is just opposite.
