摘要
本文尝试通过晚明名妓的艺术才能、艺术活动及其所映射出的可贵的艺术精神,来给予晚明名妓应有的艺术史定位。与其他时代名妓相比,晚明名妓在艺术史上的地位最为突出。这不仅表现在晚明名妓技艺精绝、数艺兼通等艺术才华方面,还表现在日常活动中她们主要通过艺术表演来娱客,与前代名妓主要以色侍人的娱客形式有较大不同。更重要的是,晚明名妓在艺术活动中所表现出来的为艺术而艺术的精神富有艺术史意义,因而使得她们在艺术史上的地位凸显出来。
This paper aims at confirming famous prostitutes＇ artistic status in later Ming dynasty by analyzing their artistic ability and activities and their spirit devoting to art. Famous prostitutes in later Ming＇s status exceeds those in other dynasties for the reason that they have excellent and comprehensive talents and skills, and that they entertain guests by artistic performance, which is different from previous prostitutes who amuse guests by sexiness. More importantly, their spirit of ＂art for the sake of art＂ is meaningful in artistic history, which makes their status in art history outstanding.
