摘要
清华大学图书馆古文献的传承、整理倾注了几代古籍工作者的心血。为使这笔宝贵文化遗产得到根本保护,又充分被利用,图书馆正致力于这批文献的数字化:从古籍书目数据库、古籍联合目录数据库的建设,到以中美百万册书数字化联合项目为开端,借助清华强大的理工科技术优势,引入国际合作,建立清华古文献数字图书馆。
The Chinese ancient books in Tsinghua University library are the cultural heritage which were collected, collated and preserved by our predecessors. Therefore librarians are engaged in the establishment of bibliography database of ancient books and union catalog. With the contribution by the Sino- American co-projects and the cooperation projects within Tsinghua University, we are devoting to the work of digitizing the texts and pictures of ancient books, in order to set up the digital library for the purpose of getting the valuable books protected sufficiently and making full use of them.
