《型世言》中的循吏缺少了一些理想化的色彩,增加了一些脚踏实地的作风,是体现作者参政意识的典型形象;是对吏员作用的全面反映,披露了吏员在封建吏治中的复杂影响,它是开拓话本题材的一个重要方面。
Image of the officials in Remarks on Society was short of those idealized colors, but some practical styles added up. It had typically embodied the writer＇s awareness of political participation. This work might be taken as an overall reflection on the role of officials. The complicated impact of officials on the feudalist management was also revealed sufficiently in this book. It had opened a new important chapter for the genre of discursive remarks.
