智能控制掺铒光纤放大器的研制

摘要 研制基于单片机AT89C52的智能控制掺铒光纤放大器.设计泵浦源驱动电路,具有手动和自动调节驱动电流、功率范围内任意点光功率控制、激光器保护等功能;采用MAX1968芯片设计热电致冷器驱动电路,利用PID电路调节致冷器驱动电流,可实现0.1℃的控制精度;对放大器8个参数进行监测和显示,并能根据所设工作模式和输入信号功率,自动调整前后向泵浦源的工作电流,以实现低噪声放大. A system based on the chip AT89C52 intelligent control of EDFA is demonstrated and experimented. An electric circuit that drives the pump source has been designed. This electric circuit has the ability to modulate the driving current either by manual control or by automatic control, to control any optical power that is in the optical power range, and to protect the laser, etc. A chip MAX1968 is used to design the electric circuit to drive TEC, and the PID circuit is used to modulate the cooling driving current. The control accuracy of 0.1 ℃can be realized. Eight parameters of the EDFA can be tested and demonstrated. The pump driving current can be adjusted according to the set working mode and the power of the input signal, so as to realize low noise amplifier.
