Under the initiative of Bangladesh Embassy in China,China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations(CICIR)and Bangladesh Embassy co-hosted a roundtable seminar 'the role of SAARC in promoting China-South Asia relations' on December 14,2006.Foreign participants are all diplomats in Beijing,including Ambassadors of Afghanistan Mr.Eklil A.Hakimi,of Bangladesh Mr.Ashfaqur Rahman,of Pakistan Mr.Salman Bashir and of Sri Lanka Mr.
