摘要 过去人们认为脂肪酸合成代谢只是一个能量合成存储途径而已。但是,近年来研究发现人类肿瘤细胞表达高水平的脂肪酸合成酶(fattyacidsynthase,FAS)这一脂肪酸合成过程中的重要酶类,而且内源性的脂肪酸合成也发生显著的变化,表明脂肪酸对肿瘤的生长提供了至关重要的能量来源,脂肪酸合成代谢与肿瘤细胞的存活及生长以及肿瘤的侵袭性相关。这些发现增加了人们对脂肪酸在肿瘤生物学中的作用的认识,并且可能为癌症的治疗提供新的靶点。 Fatty acid synthesis was once considered largely an anabolic-energy-storage pathway. Recent discovery, however, shows that human cancer cells express high levels of FAS, the important enzyme is responsible for the synthesis of farty acid, and undergoes significant endogenous farty-acid synthesis, indicating that fatty acids are essential components of energy for cancer growth and that farty-acid synthesis is now associated with tumor-cell survival and growth and aggressive tumor behavior. These findings have enhanced our understanding of farty acids in tumor biology and may provide new therapeutic moieties for neoplasms therapy.
