摘要
X-阶标理论是转换生成语法中的一个子理论。用X-阶标理论可以分析各种短语和句子结构,特别是在翻译和教学中分析具有歧义性的短语和句子方面有着无比的优越性,即可以标识和分析中间语类进而消除歧义以及在证明DP假说的合理性上提供了强有力的工具。
X -bar theory has the superiority to phrase structure rules which do not reflect structurally the distinction between subcategorized and non - subcategories in relation to the head. The X - bar theory arguable gains more and more credibility, in view of its application in diverse aspects of languages. This paper aims to expose the application of X - bar theory in the DP hypothesis and phrases and sentences in translation and teaching.
