摘要
20世纪70年代末建成的中巴喀喇昆仑公路为巴基斯坦和中国西部地区的经济建设和社会发展起到了巨大的作用,经过改建后的喀喇昆仑公路将继续为中巴两国人民造福。进入二十一世纪以来,随着中国经济的发展和西部大开发战略的实施,中国西部地区的出海口和能源通道问题日益突出。根据巴基斯坦提出的中国“能源通道”、“贸易走廊”的设想,喀喇昆仑公路在未来的岁月中无疑将发挥更加重要的作用。
The Karakoram Highway which was completed in the late 1970s made great contributions to the economic construction and social development in both Pakistan and the western region of China, and after being reconstructed, it may make even more contributions to the two countries. Since the 21~ st century, with the China's economy developing quickly and the 'develop-the-west' strategy being brought into effect, the problem of Sea-Going Outlets and energy passage in China's western region emerges. According to the assumption of 'the Energy Passage' and 'the Trade Corridor' put forward by Pakistan, the Karakoram Highway will inevitably exert great influences on the two countries in the future.
