摘要
针对两种有机蒙脱土(TJ-2型和KH-V6型),采用熔体插层法在双螺杆挤出机中制备出PP/OMMT纳米复合材料,并运用XRD和FTIR对所制得的复合材料进行表征.研究结果表明,两种OMMT片层都在PP基体中达到纳米级的分散.力学性能研究表明,相对PP而言,两种PP/OMMT纳米复合材料的硬度分别提高了11%和19%,抗冲击性能分别提高了18%和20%,且随着蒙脱土添加量的增加,冲击性能的变化符合逾渗脆韧转变机制.
Aimed at two kinds of organically-modified montmorillonite, namely TJ-2 type (OMMT1) and KH-V6 type (OMMT2), the PP/OMMT nanocomposites were synthesized by means of melt intercalation in twin-screw extruder. The prepared composites were characterized with XRD and FTIR. It was shown by the investigation result that the dispersion of both OMMT1 and OMMT2 layers had reached nano-level in PP matrix. Relative to PP, mechanical property investigation showed that the addition of nano-particles could improve the hardness (up to 11% and 19%) and their notch impact strength (up to 18% and 20%) ; where the change of notch impact strength conformed to brittle-ductile mechanism of percolation.
