摘要
北京东直门综合交通枢纽是北京2008年奥运会的重点配套项目。该项目规模较大、功能复杂,在建筑设计过程中重点关注了城市交通、城市节点与标志性、功能分区的合理性,建筑造型力求独特性,并体现了交通建筑的特点。
Beiiing Dongzhimen Integrated Transportation Hub is an important project supporting Beijing＇s 2008 Olympic Games. This article presents an overview of the project, including its background information and the concepts for architectural design. As this is a large-scale project providing complicated functions, the architectural design process has focused on the urban transportation, city node and landmark, reasonable functional zoning, and unique architectural style.
